On October 17th, SEER Robotics and Shanghai Pudong Vocational and Technical College officially signed a school-enterprise cooperation agreement, achieving a milestone collaboration with regional demonstration significance.

Leaders including Zhou Hongxing, Deputy Director of the Teaching Department of the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, Ma Shuying, Director of the High School Department of the Pudong New Area Education Bureau, Yin Yafei, Director of the Pudong New Area Employment Promotion Center, and Pan Feng, Deputy Director, attended the event. Under the witness of these leaders, Dong Yonghua, Party Secretary of Shanghai Pudong Vocational and Technical College, and Ding Xia, Vice President of SEER Robotics, signed the cooperation agreement on behalf of their respective parties.

Focusing on the cultivation of new-quality productive forces and skills, the two parties will carry out systematic cooperation around the deep integration of industry and education, jointly committed to solving the "structural gap" in the supply of talents in the field of intelligent robots.

According to the cooperation agreement, the two parties will jointly set up the "Pudong Vocational College SEER Order Class," which is the first order class in Shanghai facing the intelligent robot industry, marking a new stage of school-enterprise cooperation.

The two parties will jointly formulate training programs and curriculum systems that meet the industry standards and job requirements of intelligent robots, adopting a training model of "work-study alternation and integration of theory and practice," and systematically building an integrated talent training ecosystem of "industry, academia, and research."

Ding Xia said at the signing, "The students of the first order class will be the seeds sown, growing strong on our robot open platform, becoming the backbone of the company's development, and playing the 'artisan' spirit for the development of the robot industry in Pudong and even the whole country."

This signing marks the first substantial implementation result of the "Zhangjiang Science City Intelligent Manufacturing Industry-Education Consortium." The consortium was officially launched in September this year, with SEER Robotics as one of the core initiators, participating in the start-up and construction of the consortium throughout the process.

Shan Shaojun, Deputy Secretary of the Pudong New Area Committee, and Zhao Zhen, Deputy Director of the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, attended the conference and delivered speeches. Subsequently, at the launch ceremony, Zhang Difang, Deputy District Head of Pudong New Area and Chairman of the Third Council of Pudong Vocational Group, and Gao Guozhong, Secretary of the Pudong Education Work Committee and Director of the Education Bureau, attended together. SEER Robotics and Zhiyuan Innovation, as representative enterprises, were invited to the stage to unveil the consortium with the district government leaders.

The consortium is an industry-education integration and innovation platform jointly initiated by Shanghai Pudong Vocational and Technical College and leading enterprises such as SEER Robotics, relying on Zhangjiang Science City, and jointly established with regional vocational colleges and research institutions. It will focus on cutting-edge fields such as intelligent robots and industrial AI, develop integrated courses of "technology + practice + certification," and implement the mechanism of "order-based training and dual-teacher mutual hiring" to cultivate and deliver high-skilled talents for enterprises in a targeted manner.
