SEER Robotics Founder Yue Zhao Invited to Speak at WAIC 2026
July 18, 2026 — During the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC), Yue Zhao, Founder of SEER Robotics, was invited to deliver a keynote speech at the Xuhui West Bund Convention & Exhibition Center. In his presentation, Zhao systematically shared the company's development journey—from robot controllers to an open platform, and ultimately to embodied AI infrastructure—while outlining SEER Robotics' long-term vision and perspectives on the industry's future.
During the keynote, Zhao reviewed SEER Robotics' journey of building core foundational capabilities centered on the "robot brain."
In its early stages, SEER Robotics focused on developing core robot control systems and gradually established a comprehensive robot brain platform integrating motion control, navigation, scheduling, perception fusion, and application adaptation. These capabilities have significantly lowered the barriers to developing and deploying intelligent robots.
As robot form factors continue to diversify and real-world application demands expand, SEER Robotics further evolved its strategy by building an open platform that connects robot products, components, algorithm capabilities, and ecosystem partners. Looking ahead to the industrialization of embodied AI, Zhao emphasized that bringing embodied AI robots into real-world environments requires far more than breakthroughs in individual foundation models or hardware technologies. Instead, sustainable commercialization depends on the coordinated development of foundational control systems, real-world operational data, open platforms, and a thriving industrial ecosystem.
