SEER ROBOTICS IN CHICAGO MEET US AT IMTS 2024

This week, SEER Robotics appeared at two major technology and industry events in Hangzhou: the 2026 Apsara Conference and the 5th Global Digital Trade Expo (GDTE). From a quadruped robot equipped with a robotic arm for coordinated mobility and manipulation, to an AI delivery robot autonomously performing tasks in real-world environments, the robots on display differed in form and function. Behind them, however, was the same underlying foundation: the SEER Robotics Robot Brain, connecting perception, decision-making, and action into a complete robotic intelligence pipeline. Apsara Conference: Extending Robot Capabilities from Mobility to Manipulation At the 2026 Apsara Conference, SEER Robotics showcased a quadruped robot equipped with a robotic arm. Unlike conventional quadruped robots primarily designed for locomotion, inspection, and similar tasks, this system combines quadruped mobility with robotic manipulation, enabling it to perform tasks such as picking and carrying objects while moving through its environment. During the demonstration, visitors could simply throw a ball onto the floor. The robot autonomously detected the target, located it, moved to the appropriate position, picked it up with its robotic arm, and placed it into a basket mounted on its back. The entire process—from perception and decision-making to movement and manipulation—was completed autonomously, without remote control. Coordinating quadruped locomotion and robotic-arm manipulation places significantly higher demands on a robot&#x27;s perception, decision-making, and control capabilities. The robot must maintain stable movement and body posture while continuously adjusting the robotic arm according to changes in the environment and the task. The transition from simply being able to move to performing manipulation while in motion means that the robot is no longer executing a single isolated action. Instead, multiple capabilities must operate together in real time. What this demonstration ultimately validates is how the Robot Brain connects perception, decision-making, motion control, and physical execution, enabling robots to handle increasingly complex tasks. <div class="media-wrap image-wrap align-center" style="text-align:center"><img src="https://cdn1.seer-group.com/static/mul2j4apxwk4ak2145o.gif" width="850px" style="width:850px"/></div> Global Digital Trade Expo: Expanding into Real-World Industrial and Commercial Applications At the Global Digital Trade Expo, SEER Robotics presented the quadruped robot alongside the P300 AI Delivery Robot and its Robot Brain product series. Through demonstrations involving different robot forms and task types, SEER Robotics showcased how robotic intelligence can be applied across delivery, production, service, and other real-world scenarios. The P300 is designed for industrial and commercial delivery applications. It supports free navigation without fixed routes, allowing the robot to perceive environmental changes in real time and dynamically adjust its path. When encountering pedestrians, moving objects, or other dynamic obstacles, the P300 can autonomously reroute around them. It also incorporates 360-degree protection and 3D obstacle detection to reduce the risk of collisions and falls during operation. For task execution, the P300 supports precise point-to-point docking, with positioning accuracy of up to 10 mm, enabling material pickup, delivery, and transfer between designated locations. Depending on the production workflow, it can be used for point-to-point delivery, line-side delivery, and warehouse-to-production-line replenishment. This allows the robot to support fixed-point material transfers, high-frequency circulation between production lines, and material replenishment from warehouses to production areas. In real-world applications, a robot&#x27;s task is not simply to move from Point A to Point B. It must continuously perceive changes in its surroundings, execute tasks reliably, and integrate with actual operational workflows. To simplify deployment in these environments, the P300 can be deployed and ready for delivery tasks in as little as 10 minutes. A streamlined single-screen interface further simplifies operation, reducing the complexity involved in getting the robot from initial setup to daily use. Beyond delivery applications, the quadruped robot also performed interactive embodied-intelligence demonstrations including tug-of-war, ball pickup, and floor wiping, giving visitors a direct view of how robots can perform a wider range of physical tasks. <div class="media-wrap image-wrap align-center" style="text-align:center"><img src="https://cdn1.seer-group.com/static/mul2jtldambw9oeitg.gif" width="850px" style="width:850px"/></div> Different Robots, One Robot Brain From coordinated mobility and manipulation on a quadruped robot to autonomous AI-powered delivery with the P300, these different robot forms are built on the same underlying capability: the SEER Robotics Robot Brain. The Robot Brain is based on a three-layer architecture comprising Model, Cerebellum, and Nerve. The Model is responsible for understanding tasks, processing information, and making decisions. The Cerebellum translates those decisions into stable and coordinated motion and execution. The Nerve connects the Robot Brain with the physical robot, transmitting commands to the robot while continuously feeding real-world operating states back into the system. Robots may have different physical forms, perform different tasks, and operate in different environments. Yet many of the capabilities required for perception, decision-making, control, and execution can be developed as shared foundational capabilities. By making these capabilities reusable across different robots, robot development, deployment, and operation no longer need to start from scratch for every new platform or application. From the Apsara Conference to the Global Digital Trade Expo, what SEER Robotics demonstrated was more than a collection of individual robots. It showcased a common intelligence foundation capable of supporting perception, decision-making, and action across different robotic embodiments. Different bodies. Different tasks. One Robot Brain. <div class="media-wrap image-wrap align-center" style="text-align:center"><img src="https://cdn1.seer-group.com/static/mul2kh54tyce3bizhka.jpg" width="850px" style="width:850px"/></div>

From Mobile Manipulation to AI Delivery: SEER Robotics Showcases Broader Possibilities for Robotics at Two Hangzhou Events

On September 11, Logis-Tech Tokyo 2026 (LTT 2026) concluded in Tokyo, Japan. At Booth E2-L02, SEER Robotics presented a range of intelligent robots built around its Robot Brain, showcasing automation solutions designed for the realities of Japanese production environments. Recreating a Japanese Factory Environment on the Show FloorMany factories in Japan have been operating for years, with established layouts, equipment, racks, and workflows already in place. Compact facilities, narrow aisles, and pallets and racks of different specifications are all practical constraints that robots must accommodate when entering these environments. For the Japanese market, the question is therefore not simply whether a robot can perform a task. The more important issue is whether it can be deployed without requiring major changes to the existing facility, while adapting to current equipment, load carriers, and operating processes. At LTT 2026, SEER Robotics recreated a compact Japanese factory environment directly within its booth. Japanese-style pallets, low-clearance racks, and narrow-aisle storage areas were reproduced at actual operating scale, allowing visitors to see how different robots perform under conditions that closely reflect real factory environments in Japan. This is also one of the key principles behind the broad robot portfolio SEER Robotics has developed for the Japanese market: rather than expecting every site to accommodate the same robot, the robot should be selected to fit the site. <div class="media-wrap image-wrap align-center" style="text-align:center"><img src="https://cdn1.seer-group.com/static/mul72jcabpohc8t49u5.jpg" width="850px" style="width:850px"/></div> Adapting to Existing Space and Load Carriers with Minimal Site Modification Different facilities have different space constraints, load carriers, and operating requirements. A single robot form factor is therefore unlikely to cover every application. Built around its Robot Brain, SEER Robotics offers multiple types of intelligent robots for different operating scenarios, providing a broader range of deployment options while minimizing changes to existing environments. For high-level storage applications, the SSR-1400EU Reach Truck combines a compact vehicle design with a reach mast that allows the forks to extend independently toward the load. This enables pallet handling, transport, and stacking at height within constrained aisle spaces.<div class="media-wrap image-wrap align-center" style="text-align:center"><img src="https://cdn1.seer-group.com/static/mul72zgs81n5opu5o6k.jpg" width="850px" style="width:850px"/></div> Japanese companies may also use pallets that vary in size, specification, and physical condition. The SPT-1500UL E-Type Forklift Robot uses AI vision to identify pallets of different specifications and conditions. Its patented E-shaped fork design is adapted to Japanese-standard pallets and is designed to handle real-world conditions such as misaligned, damaged, or film-wrapped pallets. For low-clearance and densely arranged rack environments, the SJV-CSK06 Rotary Lifting Robot has a turning diameter of only 965 mm, enabling it to maneuver and transport loads through narrow aisles and tightly spaced racks. It can also perform lifting operations beneath racks with a ground clearance of just 31 cm.<div class="media-wrap image-wrap align-center" style="text-align:center"><img src="https://cdn1.seer-group.com/static/mul73glv76l9kbktns5.jpg" width="850px" style="width:850px"/></div> On the production floor, the SOF-300EU Single-Fork Arm Intelligent Forklift features an ultra-narrow 500 mm body and an 800 mm turning radius. It can operate in equipment-dense areas with limited aisle space, making it suitable for small-batch, high-frequency material delivery between production lines.<div class="media-wrap image-wrap align-center" style="text-align:center"><img src="https://cdn1.seer-group.com/static/mul73sat2yyh3ovvf2m.jpg" width="850px" style="width:850px"/></div> From high-bay storage and pallet handling to rack lifting and narrow-aisle material transport, the four robots address different operational requirements while following the same principle: Do not redesign the facility around the robot. Select the robot that fits the facility. For Japanese factories with established layouts and operating processes, this approach can reduce the amount of site modification required and allow automation to be introduced more naturally into existing production environments. From Multi-Robot Operations to Multi-Brand Coordination with VDA 5050When a single robot is introduced into a factory, it typically addresses a specific automation task. As more robots, more tasks, and more workflows involving both automation and people are introduced, the challenge changes. Companies must consider how different robots work together, how tasks are allocated, and how robots connect with existing business and production systems. This is where the SEER Robotics M4 Intelligent Robot Management System comes into play. At LTT 2026, the multi-robot solutions on display were centrally scheduled and managed through M4. M4 supports centralized scheduling across multiple robot types, brands, and fleet sizes. It can also manage storage locations, materials, and tasks, while integrating with enterprise and industrial systems such as PLCs, WMS, and MES, enabling robots to operate as part of existing production processes. Another important question for manufacturers is what happens when future robot fleets include more than one brand. SEER Robotics robot products support the VDA 5050 standard, enabling connectivity with compatible third-party fleet management and orchestration systems through standardized interfaces. This allows robots from different manufacturers and of different types to participate in a more open automation environment. This interoperability is already being implemented within the wider robotics ecosystem. SEER Robotics has been integrated into the ecosystem of NAiSE, a German third-party robot fleet management and orchestration platform, and has received official certification. NAiSE provides an open platform for the unified management and coordination of robots from multiple brands and categories, using standardized interfaces including VDA 5050 to connect robots from different manufacturers. The integration of SEER Robotics products into this open ecosystem means they can participate in multi-brand robot environments, giving international customers greater flexibility when scaling deployments across different robot types and suppliers. Robot fleets can expand. Brands can remain flexible. Management can stay unified. SEER Robotics is also continuing to develop a more open robotics ecosystem together with industry organizations and partners, extending the range of applications that can be supported through open interfaces and collaboration. From one robot to multiple robot types, and from a single brand to multi-brand coordination, an open underlying architecture allows manufacturers to expand their robot fleets as requirements evolve without being locked into a single product or system. Building Local Lifecycle Support for the Japanese MarketFor international markets, getting a robot into a facility is only the first step. From product selection and deployment to long-term operation, successful automation also depends on local teams, service capabilities, and support for safety and compliance requirements. SEER Robotics has established a local office in Kyoto, Japan, supported by a dedicated local team providing business, technical, solution, and deployment support for customers in the Japanese market. SEER Robotics also operates a local showroom in Kyoto, where customers and partners can experience robot products, validate solution concepts, and view multi-robot coordination demonstrations. Customers can evaluate products against the specific conditions of their own factories—including available space, load carriers, and operating processes—and further assess potential deployment solutions before implementation. Beyond Japan, SEER Robotics continues to develop its global service infrastructure through regional teams and service networks that provide localized support across different countries and markets. Safety and compliance are equally important for robots operating internationally. Relevant SEER Robotics products meet applicable international requirements including CE and UL, while safety systems incorporating components such as safety laser scanners and safety controllers support deployment across different operating environments. From early-stage consultation and solution design to deployment, delivery, technical support, and ongoing maintenance, SEER Robotics continues to strengthen its service capabilities across the robot lifecycle. It is a shift from simply bringing products into a market to establishing local capabilities within that market—and from completing a single delivery to supporting customers over the long term. This forms an important part of SEER Robotics&#x27; continued development in Japan and its broader expansion across international markets. <div class="media-wrap image-wrap align-center" style="text-align:center"><img src="https://cdn1.seer-group.com/static/mul746zz117dvargqbka.jpg" width="850px" style="width:850px"/></div> From Japan to More Real-World Operations Worldwide LTT 2026 provided a concentrated view of how SEER Robotics is adapting its products and services to the needs of the Japanese market. From a full-scale recreation of typical Japanese factory conditions to a robot portfolio addressing different operational requirements; from unified multi-robot scheduling and management to open interoperability based on VDA 5050; and from local teams, an office, and a showroom in Japan to a broader international service network, SEER Robotics is bringing intelligent robots into real production environments in ways that reflect local operating conditions. The objective is not simply to place robots inside factories, but to enable them to integrate with environments that already exist and continue creating value within those operations. Starting with Japan and extending to markets worldwide, SEER Robotics will continue to work more deeply within real industrial environments, combining localized products, solutions, and services to help intelligent robots integrate more effectively into factories around the world.

LTT 2026 Recap | Recreating a Japanese Factory on the Show Floor: How SEER Robotics Adapts to Real-World Operations

On September 15, the 2026 Feishu Future Infinite Conference and Doubao Work Launch Event was held in Beijing. At the event&#x27;s robotics stage, a tug-of-war challenge featuring a quadruped robot quickly drew a crowd. Tim, founder of MediaStorm, along with other industry guests, also joined the interactive challenge. Powered by the SEER Robotics Robot Brain, the quadruped robot went head-to-head with participants on site. Despite its compact form, it continuously generated force through its joints while maintaining posture and stability under changing loads, giving visitors a close-up view of its physical strength and dynamic motion capabilities. On the surface, the demonstration looked like a simple test of strength. For the robot, however, the real challenge was not merely how much force it could generate, but how reliably and coordinately it could control its own body. <div class="media-wrap image-wrap align-center" style="text-align:center"><img src="https://cdn1.seer-group.com/static/mul6kwqhau51j8drqyf.gif" width="850px" style="width:850px"/></div> Tug-of-War Tests More Than a Robot&#x27;s Strength A robot&#x27;s ability to stand, walk, turn, and physically interact with its environment cannot be attributed to hardware alone. Joint torque determines how much force a robot can produce. Turning that force into stable and controlled movement, however, depends on the robot&#x27;s underlying control capabilities. This becomes particularly important during dynamic interactions such as tug-of-war. As the pulling force continuously changes, the robot&#x27;s posture changes with it. To remain stable while maintaining force, the quadruped must adjust its movements in real time according to its own state and coordinate multiple joints simultaneously. What the audience sees is a tug-of-war challenge. What is actually being tested is the robot&#x27;s ability to continuously control its own motion under changing physical conditions. Hardware determines the force a robot is capable of producing. The Robot Brain determines how that force is coordinated, controlled, and translated into stable movement. <div class="media-wrap image-wrap align-center" style="text-align:center"><img src="https://cdn1.seer-group.com/static/mul6luylh146z0cqpxi.png" width="850px" style="width:850px"/></div> From Controlling the Body to Understanding the Task A second quadruped robot demonstrated another dimension of the SEER Robotics Robot Brain: its ability to perceive the environment, understand a target, and complete a task autonomously. During the demonstration, visitors could throw a tennis ball onto the floor. The robot autonomously detected and located the ball, approached it, picked it up, and placed it into a basket mounted on its back. The SEER Robotics Robot Brain is built on a three-layer architecture comprising Model, Cerebellum, and Nerve. The Model is responsible for understanding tasks, processing information, and making decisions. The Cerebellum translates those decisions into stable and coordinated motion. The Nerve connects the Robot Brain with the physical robot, transmitting commands to the body while continuously feeding real-world operating states back into the system. From maintaining stable force during tug-of-war to detecting, picking up, and placing a ball, the two demonstrations may appear very different. Underneath, however, they rely on the same complete chain of capabilities spanning perception, decision-making, motion control, and physical execution. The purpose of the Robot Brain is not simply to make a robot move. It is to enable the robot to understand what needs to be done and translate intelligence into physical action. <div class="media-wrap image-wrap align-center" style="text-align:center"><img src="https://cdn1.seer-group.com/static/mul6m92u0jxrujhe453l.gif" width="850px" style="width:850px"/></div> When AI Becomes a Partner at Work While bringing AI into the physical bodies of robots, SEER Robotics is also integrating AI into its own internal workflows. At the conference, SEER Robotics presented a Technical Documentation Translation Agent developed together with Feishu. When teams need to process large volumes of technical documentation, the AI Agent can assist with understanding and translating specialized content, moving AI beyond information retrieval and question answering into concrete business workflows. It also offers a practical example of one of the ideas highlighted at the Feishu conference: what happens when AI agents become partners at work. As agents become part of everyday workflows, AI is changing how organizations operate. And as intelligence becomes part of the Robot Brain, AI is also changing how robots interact with the physical world. From understanding and translating technical documents to enabling robots to perceive, decide, and act, AI is moving beyond information processing in the digital world toward task execution in the physical world. For SEER Robotics, the goal is to give robots of different forms a shared Robot Brain capable of perception, decision-making, and action—turning intelligence into real-world productivity. <div class="media-wrap image-wrap align-center" style="text-align:center"><img src="https://cdn1.seer-group.com/static/mul6mm4tfe2mnod9nq.png" width="850px" style="width:850px"/></div>
